I had some things to do early in the day, so we launched our kayaks around 10am Monday near Harrison Bay. We fished a couple sloughs targeting grass with frogs, senkos, and pop-rs. Not much going at first but a couple 15 inchers on the frog. We heard thunder and I checked the radar on the phone. Sure enough, we had a storm headed for us. We paddled around back to the launch area and hunkered down under cover until it passed. After the storm, it was on! We caught 14 bass total with the largest going around 3 lbs. Pulled back in around 2pm and called it a day.
