My nephew and I went to East Canyon today and tried to find some bass and trout. The bass didn't want to play, but the trout fishing was great trolling a squid and dodger on one rod and a rapala on the other.
After lunch we went to Echo and picked up a few bass but overall it was pretty slow. Most of the bass were fairly small but one was pretty nice sized.

I'm almost afraid to ask but how is the water level up at Echo? I haven't been by there for a while.

The water is way low. The main ramp is closed and you can only launch from the old ramp which is in bad shape. It won't be long until you can't launch at all.

We caught a few bass but it was definitely slow and most were small. I didn't fish for catfish and to be honest I didn't even know they were in there.
