Flaming Gorge!!!!

Need a little input about Flaming Gorge...how's the ice fishing over there? I was told today that the Utah side has A LOT of open water, but the Wyoming side has quite a bit of ice...??? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ice down to Current Creek. Open water in the main channel from there. Ice in all the small bays from Lost Dog down to Anvil. Avoid the zoo and hit small secluded bays and you'll do just fine. If the weather cooperates. Up there this weekend and the wind was relentless....

All I could find on the Utah side is open water. I visited Firehole January 3-5 and found about 12-15 inches of ice, but no fish. I'm not as lucky as some on here [:/].

Headed back up this weekend to give it another shot. Definitely planning on the wind as usual up there. Might as well be one of them four letter words up there people don't like to hear.
