Requirements after adding motor to my pontoon

Does any one know the requirements after I add a motor to my pontoon? I have seen others and some have boat numbers and others do not. Also cost to register. Thanks in advance.

I have done this one or two times[cool]. Fee is around $32.50 yearly.
The Utah State law is " Any boat with a motor must be licensed". So with that being said, the letters/numbers and state/month stickers must be placed just like a boat. On the side in plain sight of other boaters. 3" tall contrasting color on these letters and numbers. You could paint them on your boat, but if you ever wanted to sell, could be a bad thing.
A plate maybe 20" x 4" is All you need. You can use wood, plastic, metal. You could save some money on the letters and numbers stickers by painting them on.
This is all a liitle new, but you can be cited for not doing what the law asks[].
