Fish Lake reports???

Heading down there pretty sure just curious how's the fishing been?

Was on FL last Saturday, south end. We went out past the weed bed in 47 FOW. There were fish all over the finder. To my surprise, clouds of perch on the bottom (I usually see them in shallower on the weed bed. They would come through in schools that would fake out the electronics changing the depth from 47 to 39 feet. There were trout right on top of the perch and more up through the water column. If I would put down to the very bottom, I would catch the perch. A little higher, jigging like crazy we caught some splake and suspended at about 20 feet we could catch rainbows (which is about what I expected). Unfortunately the fishing was fairly slow. We had to work for them. I thought about moving, but it is hard to move with so many on the finder. I am headed back this weekend - probably try the north end this go round. Good luck.
