Just to let you know that UDOT has re-opened the gate to the ladders and plowed the road. The gate had been locked after the March 31st contract to plow snow. Due to vehicles getting stuck with the latest storm, the gate was locked. It's now opened and plowed. There is a little bit of open water and anglers on shore and tubes have been on the patch of open water (fair success). The rest of the reservoir has 24" - 30" inches of thick ice and access onto the ice has been good. Fishing through the ice has been good as well. Expect a week or two of ice fishing (slush could start to be a problem in a week with a good warm spell.) Scott Root - DWR
