Brownlee Reservoir Floating Docks/Bungalow

During my most recent trip to Brownlee I noticed several floating docks/bungalows on the Oregon side. While some of them looked to be in real dispare many of them looked nice.

Questions:

How do you get approval to build one of these?

Are any of them for sale?

Can they be rented?

I've always wondered bout this too. We always seem to go there when these things are high and dry.

I don't know but I've been trying to convince my wife we need to build one on Cascade. I think it is an awesome idea, just don't know how to go about getting approval.

If you have a motor on it so that it can be moved, is it just a house boat and subject to boating laws? I would think so, but I'm not certain.
