I live in Dillon fish it all the time.

There is zero snow down there. Im betting someone or multiple people or 4wheelers goes through the ice this weekend during the zoo. Its been warm here for two weeks. Prob safe ice out a ways but the shores are gunna be sketchy. We went down last week to hit the am trout bite and couldnt safly get on the ice. Last couple mornings have been cold so prob stiffened up the ice for getting on in the morn.

Was looking at fishing there this weekend too, but found out their ice tournament was cancelled for the same reasons as the burbot bash. Too far of a drive for a maybe it's safe

So we hit the ice Friday around 2, nice weather fished until 9 only got bites. Fished the tournament on Saturday, ice was at least 12". Had no luck in catching fish. Maybe try again next year.

Anyone have an idea of the current conditions from the North shore? I don't mind using a board, but I don't want to drive all that way if it is impossible?
