I went and fished the shore near the dam at Deer Creek thursday evening around 3:30. It started off pretty slow but picked up a couple hours later as I was getting bites at least every 15 - 20 minutes. They were biting pretty much any bait I put in the water, which was garlic powerbait, salmon peach powerbait, and a worm/marshmallow combo. I ended up taking 3 bows home, all about 16' and pretty fat. There will be some pictures next time for sure. It ended up being a pretty fun and relaxing couple hours for a weekday after work!

Thanks for posting your report, sounds like a decent afternoon/evening at DC. Did you try pitching any lure?

Sorry for the late reply WH, but I did try a silver blue fox spinner for a while without any luck when it was slow. When they started hitting the powerbait pretty hard I switched both my poles to bait.

Those blue fox are good lures, caught a lot of while bass with them but you got to go with what works.
