Rockport 6/10 (Friday)

Took my 4 boys ages 10 down to 2, to Rockport on Friday evening after work. We fished the west side of the damn. We caught our limit Ina couple hours. Landed 5 couple got off, and missed a few hook sets. There was a couple others that were fishing close to use they caught a couple as well. Garlic power bait was the trick.

I love this post! A 4$ bottle of powerbait, an evening with your boys and a limit of rainbows on a willow stringer! No $20,000 boat, $1500 electronics, $2500 gps trolling motor, $2000 down riggers, $400 rod/reel, $500 in flashy tackle, AIS inspections, trailer registrations, marine fire extinguisher, etc, etc...Sometimes simple is good. I have to remind myself of that, thanks.
