Georgia river fishing

Well, one Sunday a couple of older friends and decided to go fishing in one of Georgia rivers in which I do not know of, and I noticed a couple of techniques that seem to work well for the extremely hard river fishing.
1) the first thing you want to do is see how the river bottom (if it’s clear enough to see) is rocky, mossy, or sandy.
2) if it’s rocky, you should cast your line where the rocks are smaller because the small rock allows for deeper water, which allows for bigger fish.
3) if it’s mossy, you should cast were the moss seems darker the fish use the dark tone as camouflage
4) if it sandy, there’s gonna be some deeper darker spots, cast there cause like moss they use it to blend in
These techniques seemed to have worked with me, hopefully, they will with you too. Happy Fishin!!!
