After some research and a lot of scouting this winter the shed hunt in Northern Utah finally arrived. We got up there at the butt crack of dawn and followed a few other guys up the trail. We split from the other group at the top and decided to work a ridge line down a ways. My bro-in-law Nick found a really nice set of fives on the ridge and we spotted another guy in the bottom of the next canyon packing 4 six point sheds and some deer.

We worked our way down the canyon and up the next seeing guys with elk sheds straped on thier backs everywhere. Then we spotted 5 elk across the canyon staring at us. After bringing the binos up, we were surprized to see that they were all big bulls with antlers still hanging on. We worked back toward the truck and my other freind managed to find one more five point shed. it was a great day to get out even though I came up empty handed. Enjoy the pics!
