After some research and a lot of scouting this winter the shed hunt in Northern Utah finally arrived. We got up there at the butt crack of dawn and followed a few other guys up the trail. We split from the other group at the top and decided to work a ridge line down a ways. My bro-in-law Nick found a really nice set of fives on the ridge and we spotted another guy in the bottom of the next canyon packing 4 six point sheds and some deer.

We worked our way down the canyon and up the next seeing guys with elk sheds straped on thier backs everywhere. Then we spotted 5 elk across the canyon staring at us. After bringing the binos up, we were surprized to see that they were all big bulls with antlers still hanging on. We worked back toward the truck and my other freind managed to find one more five point shed. it was a great day to get out even though I came up empty handed. Enjoy the pics!

Nice report, it's good you got a chance to get out there, too bad you didn't find any sheds.
It's got me wondering why your pictures did not post though.

Until they get the attached picture function working you can inline picture and it will work even if you don't resize. It's not perfect but at least folks can see your pictures.

I was abe to see your inline pictures yesterday but not today. I just read something on the moderator board about them fixing the attaching pictures but they said when they made the latest adjustment it dropped the pictures that were made before. Let me try attaching a picture and see if it works now.
Yahoo, it's finally working!!!

Those are good looking! I still need to get out. Hope there are still some out there somewhere. I have found found a few small deer sheds in mountain green while riding, nothing to brag about tho.
