Tell me more about the northern, and what to catch them on.

We hooked ours on a spinner-rig, and with a plain jighead/worm,but most are being caught throwing cranks to shore, much like for the tigers at Pview. Better use a steel leader.

bouncers are not all that tricky. fish it lower it down and as soon as it touches bottom stop. then real up until you dont feal the bottom. drop your rod tip back about 2 inches. you should feal it hit the bottom. then lift it back up. do this every 10 or 20 seconds. you should fish the rod strait out of the side of the boat. when you feal a litle tick tick tick. slowley with out droping tip down to water rotate the rod towards the fish. dont set until you feal the weight of the fish. and when you set dont lift. sweep the tip towards the front of the boat along the top of the water. as for the pike i fish them most days the same way. at yuba i always use braid for leaders. and i tie up my harnesses with it as well.
