Small club turnout, only 3 boats. Gorgeous day, but only 4 'eyes, 19-21". Water temp started at 54, hitting low 60s by 3pm quittin' time. A few nice perch taken, along with northerns at 24", 29"(7#) & 37"(12#). 29"er full of eggs. Nothing at all in walleye stomachs. 3# smallie taken Fri on jig. Northerns on cranks, eyes on spinner-rigs. Cooperative carp.

Tell me more about the northern, and what to catch them on.

We hooked ours on a spinner-rig, and with a plain jighead/worm,but most are being caught throwing cranks to shore, much like for the tigers at Pview. Better use a steel leader.
