Junior Girl Scouts can earn The Chesapeake Bay badge on November 2. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $10, pre-registration is required. Call 410-326-2042 ext. 41.

Celebrate Nature on November 4, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. with natural art workshops. Come enjoy fun, family-friendly programming, free with museum admission. And don't forget to vote!

Little Minnows on November 6 from 10 - 11 a.m. for ages 3-5 will be all about

Sneaky, Sneaky! Animals and plants are creeping, crawling, and floating in! Take a look at the animals and plants that don't belong here, and see how quickly they can take over! Cost is $5, $4 for members, and pre-registration is encouraged. Call 410-326-2042 ext. 41.

First Free Friday on November 7 is sponsored by The Calvert County Arts Council and Starbucks Coffee. The museum is open free from 5 - 8 p.m.

Young Salts on November 8 from 10 a.m. to noon highlights Eco-Invaders! They are creeping, crawling, flying, and floating in! What are these things that are hitching rides on boats, being sent in the mail, bought in stores, and taking over? Invasive Species! Cost is $8 for members, $10 for non-members. November's Salute to the Military Month will feature "On Watch" Memorial Service on November 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the WWII Veteran's Plaza, at the end of the Dowell Peninsula. Following the ceremony, the focus moves to the Calvert Marine Museum for refreshments and the sweet sounds of jazz performed by the Navy Band Vibes/Bass Duo at 4 p.m. in the auditorium. Free. Migration Nation on November 10 - a school holiday is a chance to play at the Marine Museum! Enjoy activities and games, and find out who migrates, who stays put, and why. Fun, family-friendly programming scheduled all day. Free with museum admission.

Free museum admission for active military, their families and all veterans on November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.

Richard Dodds, Curator of Maritime History, will present a lecture on the U.S. Naval Amphibious Training Base on November 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the museum auditorium. Admission is free.

"My Experience as a Navy Diver in the Patuxent," will be presented by Harold Little on November 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the museum auditorium. Admission is free.
