November's Salute to the Military Month will feature "On Watch" Memorial Service on November 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the WWII Veteran's Plaza, at the end of the Dowell Peninsula. Following the ceremony, the focus moves to the Calvert Marine Museum for refreshments and the sweet sounds of jazz performed by the Navy Band Vibes/Bass Duo at 4 p.m. in the auditorium. Free.
