Big one comes from the Internet, just to show what size they can achieve.

Well, seems I can't post a link with ImageShack.
Sorry.

If it is these that you mean from that site ---

then yes, I have caught them before.
They are the yellow strain of rainbows, and are becoming more popular in some of the lakes and ponds. Especially the "community" ponds for kids as they can see them. Kids really get excited when they catch them as they are pretty and different.
I don't read enough French to explore too far in the site you gave!

Yes, that's the fish(es).

Thee problem is, no one can seem to agree on what to call them:

I too have caught these AND Albino's (with red eyes) Trout.
Good friend that passed on to better waters, use to post some HUGE goldens he caught from his SFC. Search up ZONKER. He had them down to a science.

I personally like albinotrout myself.[:p]

Ok that is a freaky looking fish!

But it matches my eyes...LOL

Color coordinate your fish and your eyes all you want. I still say it looks freaky.[sly]

Good to see I'm not the only one who fondly remembers our friend, Zonker/Dave. He really had them dialed in before he became a carp afficianado.
God Bless,

now that blue is just weird looking... almost like it was retouched with a photo editing program... Im afraid if I ever caught one of those Id seriously consider giving up drinking... :-)

And this coming from an Ocean boy? You got all sorts of pretty fish out there don't you?
[signature]
true we do... but not blue trout.. :-)but then again I dont do a lot of ocean fishing ... too many things in that water that can eate me faster than I can get away.. LOL... ... plus that picture is a freshwater fish... wonder what is in that water that is making it become predominantly blue instead of rainbow.???

I have no idea. Genetic engineering or something.

From what I've seen, read, and been told by people who have caught them, these are actually called "Lightning Trout", which are really just fancy rainbows.

Cool, where is that one from?
