Same thing happens to me. So I go alone. Dangerous, but also some pretty good times, once in a while.

Only problem I have with going by myself is theres nobody to take pictures of the fish I catch [
] and I'm pretty terrible about getting a good pic of a fish if nobody is there to help out!

I am blessed that my wife likes to fish! Built in fishing buddy!

The only time my fishing buddy doesn't go with me is when I wade Lake Lowell in the Spring. Fudge, my Boykin Spaniel, is always ready to go.

I hear ya on flakey buddies that don't want to go after they commited. I fish a lone a lot of the time, but it usually just takes a phone call to my ole man and he is always down to go. Problem is if I called him every time I went I think my mom would disown me and prob give him the boot.
