Slept through my alarm today and got to the lake about 8:45, which sucks when I had to be home at noon. Managed one walleye bite and one actual walleye in the boat before I had to get off the lake at 11:00. The early spawners are well away from the shore and hungry. There were fish still spawning Tuesday night when I brought the flashlight and spotlighted a couple dozen Rollin on the shore. The fish today came on a large silver blade (crawler harness) at about .8 - .9 mph. Was on the west side in about 20 fow. Water temp was 51.9 when I got off the lake. Oh... The south marina is OPEN.
