started out with a brown wooly bugger with mylar flash and a spinning bubble filled with water and split shot . . . got 3 or 4 hits, hooked one for 5 seconds . . (he turned & spit it, a nice one) then landed a nice 16 inch rainbow . . .
high wind, froze my bu$$ off, 35 degrees + 20 mph wind in my face . . . but it warmed up as the sun came up and wthe wind actually died down . .
then got another one 5 minutes later, same wooly bugger
about an 2 hrs went by, i tried other flies, jigs, spinners, spoons, i was about ready to leave and i decided to try some natural rubber worms id had for 5 yrs, ( i call 'em that cause they're not supple, theyre hard like rubber) used 'em twice maybe bam! i got one . .. a smaller chunky one . .
then 15 minutes later another . . .
well that was it . . shut down about 9:30 am, couldnt get another hit . . .left about 11 am . .
it 's sure faster going down the mountain than going up! Got back about 12:45 pm pacific time . .
I got a GPS Unit and decided to start listing gps co-ordinates - I was fishing at:
N 37 degrees 26' 1.6"
W 113 degrees 2' 36.4"

8008 Feet elevation
water temperature about 48 degrees [/code]
