I know this subject usually bring long debates, but I was wondering if anyone has used the Marcum lx9 combo. Does the camera have a control or do you have to twist the wire to direct it? I do have a couple huminbird ice 45s and a cable's camera and I f you use them at the same time the flasher picks up the cable and turns the hole screen green. Does the Marcum combo do the same where you have to use one or the other? Thanks in advance

My Marcum LX-9 was likely the first one to come to town and I've been using it for three seasons.

I'm not the best at comparison with other fish finders because this is my first and only one. But, I'm told that the electronics are better with excellent resolution.

It comes with a camera panning thing that works well on two "AA" batteries. It has a cable that goes to a handheld switch to pan left or right by turning the camera cable.

A main feature of the Marcum LX-9 is simultaneously viewing both the camera view and all sonar parameters as a side by side or even an overlay heads up display to see both at the same time. It sees the fish, the tiny ice fishing lure and I haven't noticed any difference with or without the camera.

It has an adjustable interference rejection, but I haven't adjusted it to eliminate interference from another nearby fish finder because I haven't experienced interference yet even though I've fished near others using fish finders.

The color camera and monitor is especially sharp and crisp. I have many digitally recorded videos from it.

My latest decision on how to best make it work well for me to hunt down the school of fish was to get the Nils ice auger in 4-1/2 inch which cuts through ice quickly with very little work and it's very lightweight so I can run around making small holes quickly because that's large enough for the transducer and camera.
