Bug situation for shore fisherman at Willard. - leaky - 08-09-2005 Just wondering how bad the bugs are accessing and fishing from shore during the day at Willard now? Also, does Sparky have to be on a leash if I'm fishing the West dike? Leaky Re: [leaky] Bug situation for shore fisherman at Willard. - FishingWaters - 08-09-2005 The entire lake and dike is considered part of the State Park and they will write you a ticket for not having your dog on a leash. Maybe I could sneak away without him for a quicky.[sly] Anyoone know about the bugs on shore? Leaky Re: [leaky] Bug situation for shore fisherman at Willard. - fairwayphilly - 08-09-2005 I was up there last saturday in my pontoon and there was hardly a bug anywhere on the water. There were a couple of large midge style bugs around the marina, but no where near enough to be a problem and I don't remember seeing a single biting insect while there. I was a little surprised concidering there wasn't really much wind either.
