Bug situation for shore fisherman at Willard.

Just wondering how bad the bugs are accessing and fishing from shore during the day at Willard now? Also, does Sparky have to be on a leash if I'm fishing the West dike?

The entire lake and dike is considered part of the State Park and they will write you a ticket for not having your dog on a leash.

Oh well, another one scratched off for us for fishing spots. was thinking of float tubing and looking for those boils. Maybe I could sneak away without him for a quicky.[sly] Anyoone know about the bugs on shore?

I was up there last saturday in my pontoon and there was hardly a bug anywhere on the water. There were a couple of large midge style bugs around the marina, but no where near enough to be a problem and I don't remember seeing a single biting insect while there. I was a little surprised concidering there wasn't really much wind either.

I was there last saturday evening and the bugs were non existent till it got dark.It was nice not having them around. I left around 9pm and then it still wasnt bad.
