Biggest Halibut - JasonMcMillin - 01-17-2008 What is the biggest halibut you have caught? mine was a 186 lbs but I know they get way bigger than that and was woundering if anyone has caught any big ones. Not those great big Pacific Halibut. Like the difference of a dog vs a horse. I have a biggest of 32# and my son in the 2005 MDR Halibut Derby got a bigger 36# halibut Also check out the [url "http://www.HalibutDerby.com"]MDR Halibut Derby[/url] if you can fish for them come April 5th and 6th Great prizes are available and we have a big party with a big raffle and awards party on Sunday in the park in Marina Del Rey.
