Willard Bay Sunday? - Stretch1985 - 05-02-2013 I'm planning on hitting willard on Sunday morning, but never fished it before. I was just wondering if anybody could give me a few pointers on how and where to fish for wipers [signature] Re: [Stretch1985] Willard Bay Sunday? - FishNCoach - 05-02-2013 best place would be on the south east end (by the pig farm) if you are fishing from the bank. with boat fishing any thing on the south end.. good luck![fishin] [signature] Re: [FishNCoach] Willard Bay Sunday? - Stretch1985 - 05-02-2013 thanks for the location, but i was also wondering what type of lure colors, size, style to use [signature] Re: [Stretch1985] Willard Bay Sunday? - hogstalker - 05-02-2013 silver crank baits. p.s. Has anyone been getting any cats out there yet? [signature] Re: [hogstalker] Willard Bay Sunday? - RockyRaab - 05-03-2013 Sunday, huh? I don't normally fish on weekends because of boat traffic, but I'm tempted to join y'all this time. The power squadron hasn't invaded yet. Time? Lipless cranks like Rat-L-Traps and others work. Medium to large size. Marabou jigs - 1/8 oz or up to 1/4, w/ or w/out bobber Kastmasters - the 3/8 oz is a good size, but you could probably go 1 size up or down. [signature] |
