#1
I'm planning on hitting willard on Sunday morning, but never fished it before. I was just wondering if anybody could give me a few pointers on how and where to fish for wipers

best place would be on the south east end (by the pig farm) if you are fishing from the bank. with boat fishing any thing on the south end.. good luck![fishin]

Sunday, huh? I don't normally fish on weekends because of boat traffic, but I'm tempted to join y'all this time. The power squadron hasn't invaded yet.

Time?

White, silver, and gray are good colors - anything that looks like a gizzard shad.

Lipless cranks like Rat-L-Traps and others work. Medium to large size.

Marabou jigs - 1/8 oz or up to 1/4, w/ or w/out bobber

Kastmasters - the 3/8 oz is a good size, but you could probably go 1 size up or down.
