The way God intended / Powell - PBH - 05-13-2013 In case you didn't know, God is a flyfisherman. His preferred method for catching stripers is on the fly. I spent Sunday (Mother's Day) trying to become closer to God. After my religious experience, it was time to get the wife and kids some religion. We proceeded to catch numerous stripers using other techniques. We aren't quite perfect yet, but we are certainly striving to become so. (striper fishing at Powell is still hot, hot, hot...) To be honest, I don't know that it really mattered. I probably would have done just as well using anything else big enough to get their attention.
