The way God intended / Powell

In case you didn't know, God is a flyfisherman. His preferred method for catching stripers is on the fly. I spent Sunday (Mother's Day) trying to become closer to God.



After my religious experience, it was time to get the wife and kids some religion. We proceeded to catch numerous stripers using other techniques. We aren't quite perfect yet, but we are certainly striving to become so.

That is very cool. I'll have to try it when I go down there in a few weeks. What did you use?

I was using a big articulated streamer (greenish yellow) on a sinking tip line.

To be honest, I don't know that it really mattered. I probably would have done just as well using anything else big enough to get their attention.
