went out to bibbons pond on Sunday, was on the water at 5 am, the water was smooth as glass, plenty of fish rising ,though some were pumpkin seeds,fished till 9 and landed what seemed like a hundred pumpkin seeds,and 6 nice browns,then while loading the canoe back on the truck,i ended up blowing by back out,so my memorial day weekend I ended up in bed,but it slowly improving

It was great to see you again. LOL. Bummer about your back but your not a stranger to that. We do get old Grandpa. Beautiful pond and had fish. Hope you do get out more this year. I'm still figuring out the inner banks here. I did find cats and Bass on the lake, but my heart is on the salty.

lol yup,my back is my weak link for sure,funny thing is that I have been hearing that a lot lately,just because I have arthritis in my knee,along with a torn meniscus and have to wear a brace when I am up,i say I am not dead,lol I think the 74 hrs I put in last week just caught up with me,
still trying to figure out the sports cam don't know why I struggle with it,but I haven't really used it a lot,i am planning to do more with it,

any blue crabs down there,they are slowly starting here,tthe thames is finally starting to get stripers,very hit or miss,the sound is heating up also

Thanks for the report Tom, sorry to hear about your back going out, get well soon. Let me see if I got this right, you have pumpkin seed bluegill in the same pond or lake as you have brown trout? For some reason I never thought they would be found in the same body of water.

Just got the trailer back for new Buddy bearings. I'll be heading for inner banks next week if tide are good. New bearings cost me $110 installed.. Ct would suck me dry. My back can't take even that work. I'll try the inner banks for crabs and fluke if it if they are in. Roanoke is still at flood stage, so my hot spots for Cats are on hold. Different world here. This old timer trying to figure it all out. At least T Dog is patient with me more so with the wife. LOL. Hope all will well for you and Cindy. I'll be back in late July to check out the house. Not sure about the tenant. If you can spare a time to fish let me know. It would be great to even meet for a coffee.

LAST TIME OUT ,THEY WERRE TRYING TO GET CRABS, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD THEM IN THE MARKET. BUT NOTHING IN MY TRPS . NEXT TIME OUT I WILL BAIT THE TRAPS AGAIN. JUST WONDER IF THEY NEED TO SOAK ALL NIGHT LONG. I'M NOT WAITING 24 HOURS FOR RESULTS. YOU KNOW ME. LOL 2 HOUR DRIVE. I'LL BUY THEM IN TOWN. BUT IT WILL KILL ME.
