Been trying to look up Waynes main web page but unable to make a connection. His main site is down.
I have a question. If you have only one week to fish Lake Powell for stripers this
this fall say Sept thru November which week would you go?

I would opt for any week between September 15 and October 15. The weather is usually good and the striper fishing should be excellent. It's also a good time to fish for other species such as SMB, LMB, Crappie and Walleye. I would plan on fishing uplake in the area of Good Hope Bay and Red Canyon.

the later in October you can go, the better.
Reason: water temperature.
If you can go the last week in October / first week in November, you'll be golden!
Once water temps hit 60 degrees, or less, the "big" stripers will start boiling. These are not the "boils" of July -- these are real boils, with aggressive, wild, crazy, fish!
Just keep an eye on the weather. It can get ugly, but it can also be beautiful!

Thanks for the great info. I haven't been there in years. Looking forward to a great fall fishing trip.
