Finally had some time to do something other than work or take care of the house so I went to the lake like a kid in a candy store. Was hope'n to find a few out deep on the ledges but my goofball brother was almost an hr late and by the time we hit the water most of the community holes were parking lots so we decided to avoid the crowds and scout around. Marked several schools out deep but never could get em fired up. Threw cranks, swimbaits, spoons, A-rig, C-rig, shakeys, big worms, and dropshots at em but they didn't want to play. Checked out some areas that are usually choaked with grass this time of year and was happy to see that matt is finally starting to come in. It was still submerged but there and fishable which produced a few keepers and saw a ton of bait in the area. Ended up spending more time scouting and learning what not to do Friday night then we did catching em but ya gotta figure out what not to do before you'll know what TO do. It still beats the heck out of work.
