went out messing around yesterday. started the day with the MOAB buzzbait from TrueSouth Custom Lures and damn it was fun! caught several early fish(lm, spots and 1 little smallie that came off on the way to the boat) including one nice 4&#43;lber(biggest of the day). looked around in the back of eldridge slough (i think thats the name of it), hadnt been back in there before did see some grass but its not made it to the surface yet. <br /><br />went out and started looking around the creek channel drop and caught one on a worm and 1 or 2 on a cb. decided to flip a stretch of docks and jacked one about 3lbs. back out to the river ledges and looked and looked and looked, found some interesting looking stuff but no fish, well did catch one off a group of stumps i makred with a cb. Sam the Dog&#39;s panting was making me nuts so i called it @2 and took her in(it was getting hot on me too).<br /><br />after a nap and watching braveheart for the 42nd time, lol. i got back out in the evening between the storms, it was perfect window between the cells coming in that gave me about an hour, nice wind and they were chomping! found a school of fish pulled up on shellbed and i blistered em pretty good 
no bigs but fun! caught em almost every cast for while. packed it in and got home and boat covered before the next cell came in
