put the boat in the water about 930 and fished all day in the rain, bilge pumps ran off and on all day. it was wet but thankfully warm. they had dropped the lake some so i went looking for mats around the house but the rain had covered the mats/grass back up. still managed to get a couple bites on a frog around the grass and got one punching. resorted to fishing off shore on a road bed that topped out about 15' and caught several on a cb. ran around looking for more stuff & grass and finally ended up on a point that was LOADED! stayed there for a long time just catching them on a cb until they started coming up and then whacked em with a spook. no giants(biggest about 4lbs) but fun! wind and rain put the new to me fortrex through the test and it failed started cutting out and acting up so i called it a day at 745pm. saw 2 other boats all day, a triton i passed going up lake in the morning and one cruiser going up stream, i must have been the only crazy to stay out there
