We blasted off and got to our first spot and started throwing worms and SBs. Earl picked up several short fish and our first keeper pretty quick. He lost a few good 3-3 1/2# fish. We fished the area for a bit longer and moved to our next spot. Earl then put number two in the box and while he was fiddling with the fish I jumped up on the trolling motor and stuck two fish back to back and making a cull also. I had one in the 4 1/2- 5# range jump off near the boat. We ended up making four culls and one being Earls 7.16 beaut. All in all we had a good time. Ended up with 12.05#s which was good enough for the win. Not bad for the windy day we had. Also had big fish honors. Fish were caught on worms and SB. Congrats to all who placed.
