Iv talked to a few people this week that have done really well for trout and perch. Sounds like there’s a lot of perch but none of any size. The ice is safe by the dam and beach area with some open water on the far south side by the cliffs. As far as what to use a few guys said cutter bugs in orange glow or craw, paddle bugs, southern pro crappie tubes in white and red tipped with shrimp or mill worms. Good luck!

I fished Hyrum Sat 27th in the middle of the day. May have had one light bite, (missing wax worm), but it was slow. Did not see anyone around me catch any fish. Talked to one guy leaving who caught one rainbow and that was it. Fished near the buoy out from the ramp. Moved several times shallower, but no luck. Ice is good. Nice clear ice about 6", I guess.
