My personal best flathead is 45lbs and my biggest blue is 41lbs...Sure hope to improve both of those this year.

Wow, those are some impressive cats, wish we had cats that big here. I read on another post you made that you like to use shad for bait, it there a certain type of shad that you find works better. We only have Threadfin and Gizzard shad here.

Shad are hard to beat that's for sure...I honestly don't know the difference in the types of shad...I use whichever kind gets in my castnet...lol
