Just an fyi, the limit for kokanee on Deadwood is now 15.

P 32 of the new regulations say 15 kokanee for the Upper Snake Region. Mackay Reservoir isn't listed under special waters, so I think the limit is probably 15 kokanee. I have never fished it, so others may be able to answer with more certainty.

15 is correct for Mackay Res, upped last year from 6

Thanks guys, I really enjoy fishing kokanee. Looks like the average size is 11-12 inches excellent size for the smoker. Would you mind if I PM you for some info on where to access etc. my friend and I both have snowmobiles.
