Went to Salmon Falls in the afternoon on Saturday. I put bait on the kids poles, while i pitched lures. We caught two fish in about two hours. The wind kicked up, temp dropped, and hail began to fall, which scared us off. Good, little short trip and our first to Salmon Falls.

No ice to see. Plenty of boats running around.

I was there Saturday as well we went down past Goose Island and the wasn't any ice. but the water was discolored from the run off. Water temp went from 36 by the docks to 43 by goose island. Caught 2, one 19"er, drifting with a worm and a slip bobber. Threw some jigs and flies. Had some fish follow and bump the flies. It was cold when we drove but nice when we fished, especially when the sun came out. Great to be on the water again!
