I'm going to Blackfoot Reservoir this week to try my design of a bank jaw jacker. Any ice Fisher will know that a jaw jacker sets the hook on a bite. And the ice fishing jaw jacker is $40.00 now. Mine will be under $10.00. I will finish making two of them tomorrow and post pictures.

Ok, here is the first production. I may replace the pvc holder with the coil holders in the second picture. I need something to anchor it or a big fish could easily drag the whole thing away. I could drill several holes in the long pvc that the coil holders would go through to fit different length poles.
I will try them out at Blackfoot Reservoir Friday

Nice, you could drill a hole through pvc and use a tent stake as a anchor.

I will use tent stakes to anchor it. Thanks for the tip.

It was too slow to give it much of a trial. After I set it up I didn't get a bite. I'm going back to Blackfoot Res Monday to see if the warmer weather will get them bitting.
