Good day out of Lincoln Beach

Richard and I got on the water a little after 8 AM, and saw BLK, who said he had already caught 4.
We headed East and fished all over the place. I caught my first 25.5 incher at 8:30, and thought that was good for starters.
At 11:10 I caught a 28.5 incher and I was excited, that would give me a half inch bump. We ended up with 20 cats Richard out fished me by 2
I won the size department with 2, 29 inchers, giving me an inch and a half bump, YEAH!!!. Bringing me to within a half inch of Richard's score.
Eleven of the 20 were 25 inches or better, some really nice fish, all released.
My big one not only gave me a big fight getting him in the boat, he also didnt want his picture taken.
We fished until the wind came up about 2:30. overall a great day

It was good to see you on the water and even better to hear about your success. You did much better than I did that day. My best fish was a 27-28 incher... no bumper.

I'm hoping Sept. will get the fish stocking up on grub for the winter and some good ones will be caught... maybe even by me.[]
