Pineview Ice Report

Took a drive over N Ogden divide to check on the ice at Pineview. Stopped at the parking lot along the North shore by the dam and found 2”-3” of clear ice. I could clearly see the depths of the cracks so it was easy to measure. Being one of the larger humans to roam the planet, I did not venture out too far. Drove around the Dam and saw plenty of open water. From the West overlook I could see a good number of stress fractures with fresh water coming up through so I am assuming it is still pretty thin. We may need a good cold snap to get it fishable for is big fellas.

tks for your recon post...it'll be good to try Pineview in the evening again after a couple 'off' years (for me at least)....sure do need some cold.....
