Nice haul. You did better than we did at Echo today. Congrats.

I'll add my report to yours as the title applies to both.

My son and I got to the lake around 8:30, then set up over 36 feet of water. It was busy, but there was still room in the parking lot.
We fished until noon, and threw back more than we kept. We took home around 20 for dinner. The biggest was 8.5", smallest was maybe 7-7.5". They were still biting as we were packing up to leave.
We used night crawlers on a tungsten jig or hali jig. I did catch a few on a perch eye, but success was good enough bait didn't seem to make a big difference as long as the hook was tipped. No trout were seen on this trip.
When we left the tent to pack up, we faced a veritable tent city. Most didn't come out as far as us, so we still had a relatively quiet morning.

Edited to add: Using light rods we were able to see a lot of bites. I added a slip bobber to one of my lines, and began seeing a lot more bites that were too light to detect by the rod alone. Not all were light, but my catch rate increased dramatically when I could see more of them.
