How has Mantua been doing?

Haven't been to Mantua since December. Has anyone been recently? Is the ice safe with the warm temperatures lately? Has the fishing been any good? Thinking of going tomorrow.

Been wanting to go to Utah Lake, but keep hearing that it's been sketchy with the warmer weather.

Went out Monday and it was slow fishing for us mostly looking for gills.  Even though 10 degree when left truck, there was 2" soft snow, 2" water and then the good ice 8-10".  Sled tracks from day before were froze enough that I followed them, found a spot where it had been fished and tramped (hence frozen), and stayed put.  Sure it has got sloppier after last couple warm days and nights.  My hope is that warm will melt everything (top snow and water below) into a single layer that will freeze again with upcoming cold next week.
