Willard thurs 5/27 walleyes
#1
Took my sister to catch her first walleye for a belated birthday trip.
Got on the water about 10 am got 2 walleye in less than the first hour. Then a slow stretch for about an hour and we got a double but lost one at the boat. Then it just died for us, the fish “disappeared”. I had been finding fair numbers of fish but then nada, in the same areas I had good success in earlier and on several previous trips.
Trolled around into some different areas only had one other hit but it didn’t stick. Decided it was time  to Let the dog have a swim and called it a day. Sis was happy to have 3 walleye for some great fish dinners.
Trolling cranks at 2 to 2.4 mph was what worked. Water temp 64 at start about 68 at quit.
Tried to post pictures but the option for pics wasn’t there had add attachments, tried that but then it said files too big?

Water clarity was slightly stained . It was not as clear as last few trips but visibility was still pretty good
You could easily see a lure 3 or 4 feet down. I’m guessing some wind stirred it up a bit.
Closer in to beaches and marina is was murkier.
