Ira and I got up to EC today. Launched and were fishing by 8 am, started off kind of slow but we finally found some active biters in the back, most were 17" but a few were smaller around 12". Water temp was 49 degrees when we launched and got up to 50 degrees before we left a little after 1 pm. We caught all bows either at 15 ft with downriggers or long lining with 1 oz snap weights. I did best on a fluorescent orange flatfish, Ira did best with a silver dodger and either orange or pink squid. The other lure he caught them on was a gold cyclopes. We tried a lot of other lures but those worked best for us. Saw some eagles flying around and a few deer on the hill side. Very few boats out there today, I think 4 total, including us.
