How's the season been? Feel like it's been getting slower every year for a good 10 years. Used to be able to go to metro lakes and whack quality panfish, pulling walleye through the same holes. Those spots are now sprawling wheelhouse villages. Even if you beat the crowds out there in early or late ice, the fish are smaller and less in quantity. No lakes in specific, I'm talking metro wide. I feel like this over pressuring is making its way to the larger, more well-known lakes outside of the metro as well. Would be interested in some thoughts from others on the subject. Also need to note, I am not passing blame. I myself use a wheelhouse, and I keep fish to eat, sometimes to freeze as well, never over limit or walleyes over 20".
I am just curious if you have seen the same decrease in populations. Also willing to spark the debate on if over pressuring is the cause if you agree with the decrease in population, or if you think something else is at fault. Thoughts?

Fishing, the one true universal sport.
