Went to Deer creek friday morning. Beautiful day, not a great catching day. On the water by 7:00 left at noon.  caught a few but never found a hot spot.  Great to get out with Dad and brother. Trolled popgear and triple teazers and sling blades and squids. Most fish caught around 15 ft range

just run the teazer about 18 inches behind gear, no bait

I went out saturday and found slowish fishing, but I blame it on dirty water. Not chocolate milk like jordanelle but still pretty dark and murky. with 2 of us, we managed to pull in about 6 nice hard fighting bows in about 4 hours and missed a few short strikes, so not fast action but not totally dead either.
