Rockport 11/23/2024
#1
Made it to Rockport Saturday morning ahead of the storm.  Hoping for a calm before the storm but a good breeze blowing out of the south, fairly warm.   The wedge dock has been pulled.  Made it kind of fun to launch.  Only boat on the lake, guess we were the idiots.  Moved around a little, picked up 2 small Rainbows on a pink jig head with a piece of worm.  Anchored in the lee of Perch point.  Anything white tipped with shrimp moving on the bottom picked up a few perch.  As the wind picked up and started to snow about 11 headed out.
Wonder if the black luxury sedan that drove north on the beach from the ramp ever got out of the mud?

Thanks for the report, glad you were able to get out before the storm, too bad the catching wasn't better. Any size to the perch? Hard to imagine what that guy was thinking drive a 2x2 down the beach, not too smart.

Decent length 10 to 11 inches but on skinny side. Hoping they gain some weight before ice season.
