Took the family and went to Scofield for a fun family outing on Saturday. Mild snowstorms and not too cold. A fair amount of people but not overcrowded. Only caught 2 which seems to be average for the time of the year at that lake being it gets hard at first ice. Not a lot of other options for ice fishing, hope that changes soon.

Glad you were able to get out with your family, too bad the catching was so slow. How thick was the ice? Lots of places have ice now, just depends on what you want to fish for.

Glad you were able to get out with your family, too bad the catching was so slow. How thick was the ice? Lots of places have ice now, just depends on what you want to fish for.

The ice was a foot to 14". I'm not picky when fishing, I just like to see if I can trick them into biting, take a picture, and let them go.
